Aspen, Colorado – March 13, 2014 – If you are planning to purchase or refinance an APCHA deed-restricted home in the next year, there are new financing laws you need to learn about.  APCHA is offering a free educational seminar that will provide information on the new lending and borrowing laws created by the Dodd Frank Act that came into effect this year on Tuesday, March 18 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. in Aspen City Council Chambers.  A panel of lenders will answer questions related to documentation needed to obtain a loan, debt to income ratio, credit scores needed, types of loans available for deed-restricted property, and potential impacts of owning another home on the loan.  There will be time for questions, answers and to meet with lenders one-on-one.  For more information or to RSVP contact APCHA at 920-5050 or email cindy.christensen@cityofaspen.com.
