City Bike Racks Set for Seasonal Removal November 14

Aspen, Colorado – November 13, 2017 – In preparation for winter, the Parks Department is removing the on-street City bike racks beginning November 14 in these locations: Hopkins Ave. and Mill St., 8th Street and Hallam Street, Galena St. and Cooper Avenue, and S. Hunter and Cooper Ave.   Bikes still attached to the racks on November 14 will be removed and can be claimed at the Aspen Police Department during regular business hours, 8am – 5pm Monday – Friday, beginning Wednesday, November 15.


If your bicycle has been removed, please call 970-429-2027 for information on how to collect your bicycle from the Aspen Police Department.


In response to a request from residents for more bike rack availability in the winter, a number of bike racks will be available on the pedestrian mall.
