The City of Aspen's ZGreen Program is a three-part certification and outreach program designed to reduce the environmental impacts of Aspen's citizens, visitors, businesses, and events. Whether you live in Aspen, or are just visiting, please do your part to protect our environment supporting ZGreen businesses and events!  

EPA Clean Air Excellence Award

ZGreen was awarded a 2010 Clean Air Excellence Award by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for working to reduce air pollution, demonstrate innovation, provide a model for others to follow, and offer sustainable outcomes.

The City of Aspen welcomes other communities and organizations to use the ZGreen Program as a model. Please limit use to educational purposes (not for financial gain); do not duplicate the ZGreen name, formatting, or wording; and credit the City of Aspen ZGreen Program appropriately.
