Many of Pitkin County's purchasing functions are decentralized with specific employees in the various departments being responsible for purchasing decisions. The Purchasing Office, a division of Public Works/Project Management, is responsible for assisting the various departments of the County as they purchase equipment, goods and services and for coordinating all formal bids.		City of Aspen:                                          

 

Purchasing provides City Departments with a centralized source for pricing, quotations, order placement, vendor contact, and established vendors for cost savings on quality goods and services.
